GRAQ (Chemical Reactions and Analysis Group) is a multidisciplinary team of researchers whose mission is to contribute to the creation, application and dissemination of knowledge and to promote innovation through research in Chemical Engineering and Green Chemistry. GRAQ is integrated in the "Laboratório Associado para a Química Verde" - REQUIMTE.
CIETI (Centre of Innovation in Engineering and Industrial Technology) aims to promote research for the creation and development of new products, processes and systems that contribute to innovation in the industry. The group's activities are divided into four sections: biomaterials and nanotechnology; energy and environment; engineering and process; remote laboratories and testing and debugging systems.
Biomark is a research unit of the School of Engineering of the Polytechnic Institute of Porto. The research activities aim the development of Materials and (Bio)sensors for bioindicators or biomarkers carrying biological impact on Health, with interest in Health, Environment and Food related issues, using new materials, mostly synthetic, for analyte recognition, dimensioned by bulk or surface imprinting and for a direct to an indirect interaction with the sensing area.
